February 18, 2012 - Daniel Buxton - African American Education in Bullitt County.

March 17. 2012 - Deborah Lord Campisano - "Missing Mothers? Tips & Techniques for Finding Female Ancestors" A female ancestor's identity is often hidden due to her legal status. Learn some tips and techniques to solve her history mystery.

April 21, 2012 - Arlin Kramer - Mr. Kramer is the supervisor over the cemeteries at Fort Knox. He will be speaking to us about what you need to know to have a successful visit to the cemeteries on Fort Knox.

May 19, 2012 - Alison White - Will present one of her Finding Your Roots Workshop Presentations - Publishing your Family History.

June 16, 2012 - Brandon Sloan - speaking about the Kentuckians who served in the War of 1812.

July 21, 2012 - Ann Johnson - Ann is in charge of cemetery preservation for the Kentucky Historical Society and will be speaking on cemetery preservation. After the presentation we will be going to a nearby cemetery for hands-on training on how to clean tombstones.

August 18, 2012 - Family Fair

September 22, 2012 - Jerry Thornton and Donna B. Greenup - They will present Indian history of the area and have a display of Indian artifacts.

October 27, 2011 - Betty Darnell - Mining the 1940 Census: Retrieve ALL the information included

November 17, 2012 - Rae Ann Sauer - Archivist for the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, Ann works at their library in downtown Louisville and will be speaking on what resources are available for research there.

December 15, 2012 - Christmas Social.

The Bullitt County History Museum, a service of the Bullitt County Genealogical Society, is located in the county courthouse at 300 South Buckman Street (Highway 61) in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The museum, along with its research room, is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday. Admission is free. The museum, as part of the Bullitt County Genealogical Society, is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization and is classified as a 509(a)2 public charity.
