In 1836 Henry Crist obtained the title to the 60 acre tract originally entered in the name of Parmenas Briscoe in 1787. An image of the deed is given below, followed by a transcription of it.
James T. Morehead Esquire Lieutenant & Acting Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky to all to whom these presents shall come greeting. Know ye that by virtue and in consideration of part of a land office treasury warrant No. 22 there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Henry Crist, assignee of Parmenas Briscoe (agreeably to an act of assembly approved 24th day of February 1804) a certain tract or parcel of land containing sixty acres by survey bearing date the 17th day of October 1787 lying and being in the County of Nelson on Long Lick Creek waters adjoining his former survey of 340 acres and bounded as followeth to wit. Beginning at two sweet gums and a black oak corner to the said 340 acre survey running thence S 25 degrees W 60 poles to a white oak and sweet gum thence N 51 degrees W 294 poles to two maples and a hickory thence S 65 degrees E 280 poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Henry Crist and his heirs forever. In witness whereof the said J. T. Morehead Esquire Lieutenant & acting Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky hath hereunto set his hand and caused the seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Frankfort on the 22nd day of December in the year of our Lord 1836 and of the Commonwealth the forty fourth.

In pursuit of this tract of land, Henry Crist obtained a statement from the county surveyor regarding the history of the tract. An image of that document is shown below, followed by a transcription of it.
State of Kentucky, Bullitt County Sct.
On application of Henry Crist at the surveryors office in Bullitt County for a platt and certificate of 60 acres of land entered and surveyed in the name of Parmenas Briscoe. Now I Whitledge Overall, surveyor of Bullitt County, do hereby certify that there is on record in my office an entry made in the name of Parmenas Briscoe for 400 acres of land in the following words (to wit) "May 11th 1780. Parmenas Briscoe enters 400 acres upon a treasury warrant on the south side of Long Lick Creek adjoining the Long Lick, and extending to the knobs on the north, and including the walnut level." On the above entry there were surveyed for Parmenas Briscoe 340 acres of land, by virtue of part of a treasury warrant No. 22 lying on Long Lick Creek &c. The 340 acre survey was made on the 1st day of November 1785, and on the 17th day of October 1787, there were surveyed for Parmenas Briscoe 60 acres of land it being the residue of the 400 acre entry and is on record in my office. In the following words (to wit) "Surveyed for Parmenas Briscoe 60 acres of land in Nelson County by virtue of part of a treasury warrant No. 22 lying on Long Lick Creek waters and adjoining his former survey of 340 acres. Beginning at two sweet gums and a black oak corner to the said 340 acre survey, running thence S 25 degrees W 66 poles to a white oak and sweet gum thence N 51 degrees W 294 poles to two maples and a hickory thence S 65 degrees E 280 poles to the Beginning.
