On 27 Nov 1840, William Congrove sold parts of Shepherdsville lots 67 & 68 to Ambrose Ratliff. Then on 9 Feb 1870 Ambrose's heirs sold these fractions of lots to Builla A. Simmons, wife of G. W. Simmons, as shown below.

This deed of indenture made and entered into the ninth day of February 1870 between John W. Ratliff and Royal Ratliff of the town of Shepherdsville, county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the first part and Builla A. Simmons, wife of G. W. Simmons of the second part, same county and state.
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of $200 in hand paid, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the parties of the first part doth bargain and by these presents doth sell and convey unto the party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, the following described property to wit:
Two fractions of lots lying in Shepherdsville on the corner of Water and Plumb Streets, numbers 67 and 68, the same conveyed to A. Ratliff by William Congrove and wife, recorded in Deed Book J, page 350, the same found on plat of Shepherdsville in Bullitt clerk's office.
To have and to hold the same with house and appurtenances thereunto appertaining to the party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever with General Warranty. Witness our hands this 9th day of February 1870. (signed) J. W. Ratliff, Royal G. Ratliff
