On 1 Nov 1828, the Shepherdsville Trustees deeded town lots 93-94 to Joseph R. Murray, as shown below. Then on 7 Dec 1831 Murray sold the lots to Elisha W. Simmons.

Whereas the Legislature of State of Kentucky by an act passed on the 11th day of December 1793 vested 50 acres of land lying on the north side of Salt River at the falls of said river in Nacy Brashear, Samuel Crow, Michael Troutman, Frederick Pennybaker, Benjamin Stansbury, Joseph Brooks and John Essary as trustees for the purpose of laying off a town; in pursuance of which the said trustees laid out the town of Shepherdsville and made out and returned a plan thereof by which they made Third Street 80 feet wide. And whereas also the successors of said trustees had a survey of said town and make out a new plan thereof by which the said Third Street was reduced to 40 feet wide, leaving to the trustees a strip of 40 feet wide on the north side of said town, which plan and acts of the trustees was confirmed by an act of assembly passed on the 16th day of January 1811, and whereas also since the acts aforesaid the successors of the trustees aforesaid on the 20th day of November 1827 by an order directed the said strip to be laid off into lots and to be numbered and sold to the highest bidder for the benefit of the trustees, which order was on the 1st day of December 1827 carried into effect, and Joseph R. Murray purchased lot No. 93 at the price of 37 1/2 cents, and lot No. 94 at the price of $1.26, making in all the sum of $1.63 1/2, which acts of the trustees have also been confirmed.
Now this indenture made the 31st day of November 1828 between Thomas Q. Willson, George W. Jenkins, John Chaddic, William Congrove and Rufus K. Summers, trustees of the town of Shepherdsville of the one part and the said Joseph R. Murray of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Thomas Q. Willson, George W. Jenkins, John Chaddic, William Congrove and Rufus K. Summers, trustees as aforesaid for and in consideration of the power vested in them by law and the said sum of $1.63 1/2 to them in hand paid before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, alien, release, convey and confirm unto the said Joseph R. Murray, his heirs &c the lots of land numbered 93 and 94, being a part of the town of Shepherdsville aforesaid.
To have and to hold the said two lots numbered aforesaid with all the appurtenances thereto belonging unto him the said Joseph R. Murray, his heirs &c, and to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever free and clear of and from all claim or claims whatsoever.
In testimony whereof the said Thomas Q. Willson, George W. Jenkins, John Chaddic, William Congrove and Rufus K. Summers, trustees as aforesaid have hereto set their hands and seals on the day and year within written. (signed) Thomas Q. Willson, George W. Jenkins, John Chaddic, William Congrove, Rufus K. State of Kentucky, Bullitt County Court Clerk's office, 16th day of December 1829. This indenture was this day produced to me, the clerk of the court for said County in my office and acknowledged by Thomas Q. Willson, George W. Jenkins, John Chaddic, William Congrove and Rufus K. Summers, trustees of Shepherdsville and grantors therein named to be their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned, and the same is thereupon truly recorded in my office. Teste. Noah C.
