In 1846, Richard H. Field sold part of a lot fronting on Main Street next to the Clerk's Office to Francis Maraman, divisee of W. W. Maraman. That deed identifies the lot as No. 25 (new plan). Francis then deeded the lot to his sons George and Henry Maraman, as shown below. Then, in 1848, George deeded his share to his brother Henry O. Maraman.

This indenture made the seventh day of November in the year of our Lord 1848 between George W. Maraman of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the first part and Henry O. Maraman of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the second part.
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of $100 to the said party of the first part by the party of the second part in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain, alien, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, the following described piece or parcel of land: situate, lying, and being in the town of Shepherdsville and part of lot number 25 in the new plan of said town and is the same deeded by R. H. Field to Francis Maraman and by said Maraman to the said Henry O. Maraman and George Maraman, interest being the one half of said lot so conveyed as above stated, which said moiety is hereby intended to be conveyed, together with all the rights, privileges, and appurtenances belonging.
To have and to hold the above described premises with all the improvements and appurtenances to the same belonging to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever.
And the said party of the first part for himself and his heirs do hereby covenant with the said party of the second part and his heirs that he is lawfully seized in fee of the premises aforesaid, and have good right, full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the same in manner aforesaid; that the premises are free and clear from all encumbrances whatever; and he will forever warrant and defend the same and the quiet, peaceable possession thereof, together with the appurtenances to the same belonging or appertaining unto the said Henry O. Maraman, heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
In witness whereof the said George W. Maraman and Susan his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower to the above described premises, have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. (signed) G. W. Maraman, Susan C. Maraman
