Benjamin Summers bought this lot in 1797, and according to another deed he sold it to James Ferry by bond, which bond was transferred to Mary Welsh; and by this deed Summers deeded the ground to Welsh on 28 Apr 1818. Then on 20 Dec 1819, Mary sold the tract to James Holmes. Holmes would later sell it to Samuel Burks and William Caldwell. Burks then sold his share to Caldwell on 29 Aug 1821. Then on 28 Sep 1833 Caldwell sold the ground to Nathan Brammel. Brammel would later sell it to William Arnold as shown below.

This indenture made this third day of January 1835 between Nathan Brammel and Zilpha his wife of Bullitt County and state of Kentucky of the one part and William Arnold of the county and state aforesaid of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Nathan Brammel and Zilpha his wife for and in consideration of the sum of $480, money of the United States to them in hand paid before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, alien, release, convey and confirm unto the said William Arnold a certain part of lot number forty-one in the new plan of the town of Shepherdsville and whereon the said William Arnold now resides and which part of said lot is within the following boundary, to-wit.
Beginning at the southwest corner of said lot No. 41 on Main Street, thence with Main Street North 6 1/2° East 30 feet, thence the course of the town lots across said lot No. 41, South 83 1/2° East 99'5" to the line of lot No. 42 in the new plan of said town, thence with said line South 6 1/2° West 30 feet to the line of the alley, thence with said line North 83 1/2° West 99'5" to the beginning together with all the buildings of every kind thereon, being the same piece or part of said lot which was conveyed to Nathan Brammel by William Caldwell and Francis Maraman by deed duly recorded in the clerk's office of the Bullitt County Court.
To have and to hold the said described parcel oof lot No. 41 with all the appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the said William Arnold, his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever. And the said Nathan Brammel and Zilpha his wife covenant and agree to and with the said William Arnold that they have full right to sell and convey the said described parcel of ground and that the same is free from all right and title of dower or other incumbrance, and that they will, and their heirs shall warrant and forever defend the said parcel of ground and appurtenances to the said William Arnold, his heirs and assigns from the claim or claims of all and every person or persons claiming or to claim the same. In testmony whereof the said Nathan Brammel and Zilpha his wife hereto set their hands and seals on the day and year before written.
