Samuel A. McKay to Henry J. Craycroft - Lot 43

On 22 Feb 1838, Matthew Wilson conveyed to the trustees of the United Baptist Church of Shepherdsville plots of ground in and near Shepherdsville. It included his warranted title to Lot #43 in the town's new plan. The Church Trustees sold the lot to Samuel A. McKay in 1845. To do so they needed to get permission from the Kentucky General Assembly. McKay later sold the lot to Henry J. Craycroft in January 1846, as shown below. Then Craycroft sold it to Lorenzo Hogland in 1852.
